01 / Mission

Mission

RouteStack is a practical editorial guide to European intercity coach travel. We focus on the decisions surrounding a journey: a corridor’s shape, the gap between a city and its terminal, the document layer of a cross-border trip, a carry-on that keeps essentials available, and the first local move after arrival. The work is designed to help readers prepare, not to direct a transaction.

02 / Editorial purpose

Editorial purpose

Coach travel is often presented as a search result and a price. That framing hides the parts that determine whether a trip is workable. RouteStack uses a systems lens: origin access, departure bay, movement through the corridor, transfer exposure, border context, arrival node and local continuation. We write about the durable questions behind those interfaces.

03 / Research approach

Research approach

Our pages synthesize general travel-planning principles with a city-and-network view. We separate stable guidance from information that changes frequently. For station locations, routes, fares, service patterns, luggage conditions, disruption notices and entry rules, readers should switch to the relevant official operator or authority. We do not present editorial prose as live operations data.

04 / Publishing standards

Publishing standards

We aim for clear language, distinct page purposes and explicit uncertainty. We avoid invented schedules, prices, frequency claims, vehicle features, universal luggage allowances and generic assurances. When a fact depends on route, date, traveller or operator, the page says so. We also avoid sales language because a useful guide should not press a reader toward a transaction.

05 / Corrections

Corrections

If you find an error, ambiguity, broken link or outdated framing, contact the editors with the page URL and a concise description of the issue. We review correction requests as editorial input. A correction may be made, clarified or declined when the evidence is insufficient, but the channel exists to improve the guide rather than to process travel cases.

06 / Independence

Independence

This website is an independent informational and educational travel resource. It is not owned, operated, or officially affiliated with FlixBus unless explicitly stated otherwise.

07 / What RouteStack cannot do

What RouteStack cannot do

RouteStack does not sell tickets, take bookings, process payments, manage accounts, change journeys, trace luggage, issue refunds or provide operator customer support. If a question concerns a specific journey or transaction, the appropriate first contact is the operator used for that journey through its official channel.

08 / Data handling

Data handling

The site is static. It does not use analytics or a theme preference store, and the reading progress bar works in the browser without sending reading activity to RouteStack. The contact form opens the visitor’s own mail client. Our Privacy page explains the limited third-party requests made for remote images, fonts and the Tailwind CDN.

09 / Photography

Photography

RouteStack uses supplied editorial photographs by named Unsplash contributors. We use them as visual context for cities, roads and movement, never as a claim about a particular operator. Individual photographer credits and links are listed below.

10 / A reader’s role

A reader’s role

Use the site as a planning layer. After reading, confirm the live information that matters for your exact route with the official operator and authorities. That last verification is not a disclaimer added at the end of the process; it is part of responsible travel planning.
