POLICY PANEL · ACTUAL PRACTICES
Privacy for a static editorial site
A readable account of the limited data practices behind RouteStack: static hosting, no analytics, mailto correspondence and third-party font, CDN and photo requests.
Editorial resource — not a booking platform.
Effective context
Nothing hidden behind an account.
RouteStack has no login, transaction database, mailing-list form or behavioural tracker. This policy describes the visible technical dependencies of the published pages and the email correspondence a reader chooses to send.
01 / PRIVACY
Scope of this notice
This privacy notice describes the RouteStack website at flixbuy.autos as it is built today: a static editorial site. It explains what the pages request from a browser, what a visitor chooses to send through their own email application, and what RouteStack does not operate. It is not a policy for a ticketing service, customer account or operator platform because RouteStack provides none of those things.
02 / PRIVACY
Static hosting and server logs
A static website is delivered by hosting infrastructure. Like most web delivery systems, the host may process technical request data such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, time and response status in server logs for operational security, delivery and troubleshooting. RouteStack does not use those logs to build traveller profiles or make decisions about individuals.
03 / PRIVACY
Cookies and local storage
RouteStack does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, preference cookies or local-storage settings. There is no theme toggle, account feature or saved route tool. The guide’s reading-progress bar runs locally in the browser while a page is open and does not send a reading history to RouteStack.
04 / PRIVACY
Analytics
No analytics service, marketing pixel, behavioural measurement tool or advertising network is configured on this site. RouteStack does not measure individual page journeys, create visitor accounts or combine browsing activity across sites. If this changes, the actual implementation and this notice would need to change before the feature is used.
05 / PRIVACY
Contact email and mailto form
The Contact page uses a mailto link and a form whose action opens the visitor’s configured email client. The site does not receive, store or transmit the form fields itself. Once a visitor sends an email to [email protected], the content of that message is processed as ordinary correspondence so the editors can respond to corrections, feedback or enquiries.
06 / PRIVACY
Third-party browser requests
Pages request resources from third parties: Google Fonts provides the selected web fonts, Tailwind’s Play CDN provides the CSS utility runtime, and Unsplash image URLs provide editorial photographs. Those providers may receive the technical request information normally involved in delivering a web resource, including IP address and browser context. Their handling is governed by their own notices.
07 / PRIVACY
Retention and sharing
RouteStack keeps email correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the message, maintain an editorial correction record or meet a legal obligation. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share correspondence for advertising. Service providers may process data only as necessary to host the site, deliver email or provide the third-party resources requested by the browser.
08 / PRIVACY
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, visitors may have rights to ask about personal data, request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability. The available right depends on the context and law that applies. A request can be sent to [email protected]. We may need enough information to understand the request and protect other people’s privacy.
09 / PRIVACY
Changes and contact
RouteStack may update this notice if the site’s data practices change. The current page describes the static site as published. Questions about this notice can be sent to [email protected]. Travel disputes, journey changes, ticket issues and operator claims should be directed to the relevant operator, not to RouteStack.

Data boundary
RouteStack is a static editorial resource. It does not create user accounts, hold bookings, process payments, or build a personal travel profile. A visitor may read the pages without submitting personal information. The contact link opens the visitor's own mail application; the information in that message is chosen by the sender.
The guide's progress indicator is visual only. It does not record reading position or send an event to an analytics service. External providers linked from the site have separate policies, which should be reviewed before information is shared with them.
